ACLS & BLS Trainer

Job Qualifications:

• Must be a certified ACLS and BLS Instructor (AHA, Red Cross, or equivalent recognized accrediting body)

• Valid and updated provider certifications in both ACLS and BLS

• Background in nursing, emergency medicine, or other healthcare-related fields (RN, EMT, paramedic, etc.)

• At least 1 year of experience conducting healthcare training or working in a clinical/emergency care setting

• Strong communication, presentation, and classroom management skills

• Ability to adapt to different learning styles and participant needs

• CPR Instructor certification is an advantage

• Willing to travel (if training is conducted at multiple sites)

Job Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality ACLS and BLS training sessions to healthcare professionals and/or the general public

• Ensure all course content is up-to-date and aligns with governing body standards

• Conduct skills assessments, practical exams, and written evaluations

• Prepare and manage training materials, manikins, and equipment

• Provide constructive feedback to trainees and support them in skill development

• Coordinate with training center coordinators or clients for scheduling and reporting

• Stay updated on protocol changes and continuing instructor education requirements
