HSSEQ and Training Officer

Puerto Princesa City, Palawan, Philippines

The HSEQT Officer Trainee is a full-time position and will oversee the HSE, Quality and Training Departments of the Company.


QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, or any related field
  • 1 year of experience in a similar role is advantage.
  • Fresh graduate can apply.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to assess risks, analyze data, and make informed decisions.
  • Proven track record of developing and implementing effective HSEQT programs and initiatives.
  • Experience conducting audits, inspections, incident investigations, and training sessions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:


HSE and QUALITY

• Ensure compliance with the health, safety, environment and quality policies and procedures

• Provides leadership, training and supervision, when needed.

• Ensure that the office, training areas are safe for employees, staff, trainees and visitors. 

• Perform reviews and audits, general risk assessments and other safety assessments to support

  Health, Safety, Security, Environmental and Quality management.

• Ensure compliance to local and national legal requirements

• Write, implement, and manage HSSEQ Programs, Policies and Procedures.

• Have knowledge and enforce compliance of Regulatory requirements.

• Conduct Safety Induction for visitors and new employees and staff.

• Provide assistance and advice on HSE issues to make recommendations to facility management.

• Participate in detailed incident investigations and Root Cause Analysis

• Assist in the development and presentation of relevant HSSEQ training

• Maintain the hazard registry of the Head Office, branches and training venues.

• Apply first aid measures involving employees, staff, visitors, trainees, or any individuals within the

premises of the establishment.

• Implement environmental waste management and monitor the engagement of the employees,

staff, visitors, contractors and stakeholders.

• Perform pre-audits to identify & mitigate operational risk and to ensure ongoing adherence with

compliance procedures.

• Lead the monthly Health and Safety Committee Meeting, as required.

• Conduct quality assurance activities involving surveys, post-event evaluation, and other relevant

activities.


TRAINING 

• Assist in planning and executing approved training schedules, projects and related activities 

• Oversee the execution of the training and assist in evaluation 

• Plans and propose new strategies and projects to further improve the service and working culture of the operations team members. 

• In-charge in the conduct of related Environmental Training Courses as approved by the DENR EMB and DOLE OSHC.
