As a TESDA Bookkeeping NC II Assessor, you will be responsible for evaluating candidates' skills and knowledge to determine their competency in bookkeeping as per TESDA standards. Your role is crucial in maintaining the quality and integrity of the TESDA certification process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment Conduct: Administer both written and practical assessments for candidates pursuing TESDA Bookkeeping NC II certification, ensuring they meet the required competency standards.
  • Compliance: Ensure all assessments are conducted in accordance with TESDA guidelines, policies, and procedures.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of candidate performance, assessment outcomes, and any relevant observations. Prepare and submit required reports and documentation to TESDA and the institution.
  • Feedback: Provide constructive and objective feedback to candidates, helping them understand their strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in internal and external quality assurance processes to maintain high standards in assessment practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on TESDA regulations, assessment techniques, and industry trends to ensure the highest level of assessment quality.
  • Ethical Standards: Uphold the highest ethical standards in conducting assessments, ensuring fairness and impartiality in all evaluations.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certification: TESDA Bookkeeping NC II Assessor Certificate is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field, with 2 years of experience as a certified assessor or trainer.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero), Microsoft Office Suite, and an in-depth understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of TESDA competency standards, assessment methods, and bookkeeping procedures.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver clear and objective assessments.
  • License/Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification is a plus
