TESDA Bookkeeping NC2 Trainer

As a TESDA Bookkeeping NC II Trainer, you will be responsible for teaching and guiding students through the TESDA Bookkeeping NC II curriculum. You will provide both theoretical and practical instruction, ensuring that students gain the skills necessary to successfully pass the TESDA certification and excel in the bookkeeping profession.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Training Delivery: Conduct classroom and hands-on training sessions, covering the complete TESDA Bookkeeping NC II curriculum, including financial transactions, journal entries, ledger maintenance, and preparation of financial statements.
  • Curriculum Development: Assist in developing and updating training materials to align with TESDA standards and current industry practices.
  • Student Assessment: Evaluate student progress through written exams, practical exercises, and other assessment tools to ensure competency in bookkeeping skills.
  • Student Support: Provide mentoring and support to students, helping them overcome learning challenges and achieve their certification goals.
  • Compliance: Ensure all training and assessment activities comply with TESDA guidelines and standards.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on changes in bookkeeping practices, TESDA regulations, and industry trends to continuously enhance the training program.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of student attendance, progress, assessments, and certification status.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Certification: TESDA Bookkeeping NC II Trainer Certificate is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in bookkeeping, accounting, or a related field, with 2 years of experience in training or teaching.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero), Microsoft Office Suite, and understanding of accounting principles and practices.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of TESDA competency standards, bookkeeping procedures, and financial reporting.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication, instructional, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and motivate learners.
  • License/Certification: Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or equivalent certification is a plus.
