As a TESDA Caregiver NC II Assessor, you will be responsible for evaluating candidates' skills and knowledge to determine their competency in caregiving according to TESDA standards. Your role is vital in ensuring that certified caregivers possess the necessary skills and qualifications to provide high-quality care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment Conduct: Administer both practical and theoretical assessments for TESDA Caregiver NC II candidates, ensuring they meet the required competency standards.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all assessments are conducted in strict adherence to TESDA guidelines, safety protocols, and ethical standards.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of candidate performance, assessment results, and any observations. Prepare and submit required reports and documentation to TESDA and the institution.
  • Feedback: Provide clear and constructive feedback to candidates, helping them understand their strengths and areas for improvement.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in internal and external quality assurance processes to ensure high standards in assessment practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest TESDA regulations, caregiving practices, and assessment methodologies to maintain the highest level of assessment quality.
  • Ethical Standards: Uphold the highest standards of fairness, impartiality, and integrity in all assessment activities.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in nursing, Healthcare, or a related field.
  • Certification: TESDA Caregiver NC II Assessor Certificate is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in caregiving, nursing, or a related field, with 2 years of experience as a certified assessor or trainer.
  • Technical Skills: Extensive knowledge of caregiving techniques, patient care standards, and assessment procedures.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of TESDA competency standards, caregiving practices, and healthcare regulations.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver objective and fair assessments.
  • License/Certification: Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent healthcare certification is a plus.
