As a TESDA Heavy Equipment Operator Assessor, you will play a vital role in evaluating candidates' knowledge, skills, and competencies in operating heavy machinery according to TESDA standards. Your expertise will ensure that only those who meet the required competency standards are certified, contributing to safety and excellence in the industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment Conduct: Administer and oversee practical and theoretical assessments for candidates pursuing TESDA Heavy Equipment Operator certification, ensuring they meet TESDA’s competency standards.
  • Compliance: Ensure all assessments are conducted in strict compliance with TESDA guidelines, industry regulations, and safety standards.
  • Documentation: Accurately document assessment results, candidate performance, and any relevant observations. Prepare and submit required reports and records to TESDA and the institution.
  • Feedback: Provide constructive feedback to candidates, identifying strengths and areas for improvement to support their professional development.
  • Quality Assurance: Participate in internal and external quality assurance processes to maintain high standards in assessment practices.
  • Continuous Improvement: Stay informed about the latest TESDA regulations, industry trends, and assessment techniques to ensure the highest level of assessment quality.
  • Safety Standards: Ensure that all practical assessments are conducted with strict adherence to safety protocols, safeguarding both candidates and assessors.

Qualifications:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational education in heavy equipment operation is a plus.
  • Certification: TESDA Heavy Equipment Operator Assessor Certificate is required.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience in heavy equipment operation, with 2 years of experience as a certified assessor or trainer.
  • Technical Skills: Extensive knowledge of operating and assessing various types of heavy equipment, including bulldozers, excavators, loaders, and cranes.
  • Knowledge: Strong understanding of TESDA competency standards, assessment methods, and industry best practices in heavy equipment operation.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to deliver clear and objective assessments.
  • License: Valid professional license for heavy equipment operation.
